The leisure centres include Archway Leisure Centre, Cally Pool, Finsbury Leisure Centre, Islington Tennis Centre, Highbury Pool and Fitness Centre and Sobell Leisure Centre, which are managed by Aquaterra Leisure in partnership with Islington Council.
Penny Shrubb, Special Projects Manager at Aquaterra Leisure said: "I am delighted that Aquaterra Leisure has joined forces with Islington Council to provide such a fantastic scheme for the future stars of sports. This exciting initiative helps to reinforce Aquaterra's commitment to supporting residents, stakeholders and partners by providing opportunities for individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations."
To cement this key partnership Aquaterra Leisure is happy to announce it will sponsor the Sport Islington and Islington School Sport Association Awards on 9th July at Islington Town Hall and will provide sponsorship in the region of £1,000 for an annual achievement award in collaboration with Sport Islington.
