At-Bristol appoints new chief executive
UK science centre At-Bristol has confirmed Phil Winfield, director of the INTECH Science Centre and Planetarium in Winchester, will replace Dr Goéry Delacôte as its chief executive.
Winfield has been responsible for leading INTECH through its transition from small local charity to become a major educational and visitor attraction. He will join At-Bristol in April.
Last July, it was confirmed that Dr Goéry Delacôte would be stepping down from the post after more than six years to become the president and chief scientific advisor of At-Bristol.
Alan Moore, chair of At-Bristol's board of trustees, said: "[Phil] brings with him a lot of expertise that will further enhance the work At-Bristol does both as an educational charity and one of the leading tourist attractions in the Bristol area."
