BHA member included in top 50 UK workplaces list
Maybourne Hotel Group, who own Claridge’s, the Connaught and the Berkeley in London, has been included in the Best Workplaces UK 2006 list.
The group was listed at number 46 out of a total of 50 organisations who offer the best working conditions to their employees.
Sara Edwards, Maybourne Hotel Group vice-president of Human Resources, said: “Achieving the Great Place to Work award is a tremendous external accolade which recognises our efforts to ensure that our working environment, conditions and benefits are among the very best in the country.”
Compiled by The Great Place to Work Institute, and published annually in the Financial Times, the list recognises best practice as a benchmark for companies seeking to improve their workplace relations.
According to the Institute, any organisation publicly quoted, privately held, non-profit, or governmental agency with a minimum of 50 full- and part-time employees in the UK is eligible to participate.
Other organisations included in this list included Microsoft, Starbucks, and BHA affinity partners British Gas Business, who were ranked third.
