Back to skool
This year's official LIW party, in aid of the National Osteoporosis Society, is going to be a 'Skool Disco'.
The skool disco theme starts at the club door, where Danny the lollipop man will ensure guests get safely across the doorway. Once inside the club, Mr Jones the music teacher will be spinning tracks from the 70s, 80s and 90s and the skool photographer will be taking photos of all the naughty boys and girls.
Escape Fitness, UK distributor for Reebok Fitness equipment, is sponsoring the event.
'Osteoporosis affects one in three women and one in twelve men over the age of fifty in the UK,' said Matthew Januszek, director of Escape Fitness, 'Weight bearing exercise is one of the few remedies which is proven to slow the onset of this disease and actively aid sufferers, which is part of the reason that Escape Fitness is so delighted to be working with the charity for this year's event.'
The disco is to be held at Liberty's nightclub in Birmingham on Wednesday 9 October, tickets are £8, skool hours are from 9.30pm till 2.00am and the dress code is strictly skool uniform. Details: +44 (0)800 458 5558
