Banyan Tree extends Angsana to the Caribbean
Banyan Tree is continuing its rapid expansion with the announcement of a management contract for an Angsana resort and spa on the island of Grand Turk in the Turk & Caicos.
Situated on a white sand beach, the resort will have 160 suites, an Angsana spa, multiple F&B outlets and conference facilities.
Executive chair, Ho Kwon Ping, said: “This project affirms Banyan Tree’s strategic intent to be a key player in the Americas.
“The introduction of Angsana Resort & Spa Grand Turk, will bring our brand of Asian hospitality to a larger group of discerning travellers.”
The announcement follows other contracts recently secured in Jordan, Turkey, Mauritius, Korea and China.
Banyan Tree has just been awarded the Banyan Tree Maldives Vabbinfaru.
One resort is chosen each year in the Maldives recognising good practises in initiating socially and environmentally beneficial projects.
