Barr + Wray announces UAE contracts
Scotland-based aqua-leisure provider Barr + Wray has confirmed that it has been appointed to work on a number of spa projects across the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The company has been appointed to deliver the upgrade and refit of a three-storey gym at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, part of which is to feature a new spa area. Other contract wins in the UAE include the installation of male and female steamrooms at Capital Gate, Abu Dhabi, and new saunas for the Burj Al Arab in Dubai.
Alister MacDonald, group managing director at Barr + Wray, said: "Our work in the Middle and Far East has already led to us setting up permanent bases in Dubai and Hong Kong, which have allowed us to exploit further opportunities in these areas."
