David and Victoria Beckham have sold their full-floor penthouse at One Thousand Museum in Miami for approximately $24.6 million, above the original purchase price of $19.8 million in 2020, according to The New York Post.

The Beckhams were among the first buyers at the Zaha Hadid-designed One Thousand Museum residential skyscraper, which sits opposite Miami’s Museum Park, a large urban green space housing the Herzog & de Meuron-designed Pérez Art Museum Miami and the Grimshaw-designed Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science.

One of Zaha Hadid’s final realised projects, the 62-storey tower is characterised by its external reinforced concrete ‘exoskeleton’, which functions as both structure and façade, allowing column-free interiors and ensuring that the building can withstand Miami’s hurricane force winds. It features 84 residences, as well as luxury facilities including Miami’s only rooftop helipad, a two-level wellness and spa centre featuring an infinity edge swimming pool with views of the city and the ocean, a fitness centre, saunas and steam rooms, treatment rooms and a juice bar. It also features a Sky Lounge event space and private dining room at the top of the building, as well as a climate-controlled storage facility for residents to store valuable items.

The Beckhams’ 9,200sq ft apartment features five bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms and a large balcony on the building’s 59th floor, with views over Biscayne Bay and downtown Miami. Beckham Brand Limited, a United Kingdom entity, sold the unit to Delaware-based 1000 MT 59 LLC, according to US real estate publication The Real Deal.

Zaha Hadid created One Thousand Museum for developers Louis Birdman and Gregg Covin of One Thousand Museum Limited. The building was a passion project, according to Hadid. "We're charging not very muchIt's a present from me," she reportedly said in 2015, highlighting her desire to contribute to the cultural landscape of Miami – a city that she made her home.

The sale reflects continued demand for architect-designed residential developments in Miami’s luxury market. One Park Grove, designed by OMA, has achieved record prices for mainland Miami condos, according to Miami Condo Investments, with a penthouse selling for $22.5m in February 2025.
