Boscastle's Museum of Witchcraft devastated by floods
The flash floods that wreaked havoc in Boscastle, Cornwall, on 16 August have caused severe damage to the village’s Museum of Witchcraft.
Much of the building has been destroyed but the owner, Graham King, plans to restore the attraction to its “previous splendour” and re-open the museum.
The Museum of Witchcraft houses the world’s largest collection of witchcraft-related artefacts and is used as a key resource by researchers worldwide. It has been located in Boscastle for more than 40 years and is one of Cornwall's most popular museums.
King himself was among those assisting in the rescue operations in Boscastle, using his coastguarding skills.
For further information, offers of help or donations, contact the museum’s helpline: +44 (0)1749 674712
