Cap Ternay on track for 2012 opening
Emirates Hotels & Resorts is on schedule to open the Cap Ternay Resort & Spa on the island of Mahé in the Seychelles in late 2012.
The conservation-focused property, expected to cost US$253m to complete, (183m euro, £155m), will be located in a 45-hectare (111-acre) protected area which includes a wildlife sanctuary and the Baie Termay Marine Park reserve.
The private resort will consist of a Timeless Spa featuring eight treatment rooms providing hydro- and related beauty therapies as well as a gym. There will also be one of the largest swimming pools in the Indian Ocean, covering nearly 6 acres (2 hectares) of cascading pools, lap pools and private inlets as well as a lazy river.
