Cornish Pirates announce stadium agreement
Cornish Pirates rugby union team has announced it has reached agreement in principle for a temporary groundshare with Plymouth Argyle Football Club if it is promoted this season.
The deal to use Home Park for early games in the 2012-13 season is subject to a number of conditions, including the start of work on a new permanent home for the team in Truro.
Should Cornish Pirates be promoted to the Aviva Premiership, Home Park will offer a home for the club if the Stadium for Cornwall project is incomplete by the start of the season.
Peter Ridsdale of Plymouth Argyle Football Club said: "If the Pirates win promotion to the Premiership, Argyle would be delighted, in principle, to host them on a temporary basis."
