Dinosaur Train™ is on track for great success this summer in the UK – this is an exciting new animated series from The Jim Henson Company, creators of the Muppets and Sesame Street and one of the biggest shows on Nickleodeon's Nick Jr. From 26th July kids will have the opportunity to ride on the Dinosaur Train™ for the first time in the UK at the ever popular Seaton Tramway in Devon.

Visitors will get to meet Buddy, the loveable and curious T-Rex, Laura the Gigantosaurus, Quincy the Quetzalcoatlus, Carla the Shark, Ned the Brachiosaurus and Mr Conductor, the Troodon, and celebrate the fascination that children have with dinosaurs and trains!

The adventure will begin at Seaton where a double-deck tram (enclosed trams are used if it's raining) will take you to the Nature Trackers' Adventure Area at Colyton Station.

Along the way there will be lots of music and stories from the hit show and kids will receive their Nature Trackers' Club Guidebook filled with fun-packed activities! There will also be plenty of wildlife to see as the tram passes through two nature reserves on the Axe Estuary.

At the Nature Trackers' Adventure Area, there will be a Dinosaur Dig, Fossil Excavation site, Dino Footprint Tracking, Dinosaur Activity area with loads of dinosaur exhibits to touch and draw, temporary tattoos and a bouncy castle! You'll also be able to purchase a Buddy's favourite Jumbo Jurassic Burger or Mr Conductor's Troodon Hot Dog plus many other themed dinosaur treats at our Tramstop Café and look around the gift shop for lots of dinosaur and tram souvenirs. After your fun-filled stop at the Adventure Area, your tram will take you back to Seaton.

The Dinosaur Train™ is geared toward preschool children aged 2 - 5 years, but the entire family is guaranteed to have a great time. The Dinosaur Train™ will depart from Seaton Terminus every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 26th July to 8th September and you are advised to book early either online at www.tram.co.uk or by phoning the booking hotline at Seaton Tramway on 01297 20375. Tickets are £19.95 per adult, £14.95 per child 2-15, under 2's are free. (A family saver ticket of 2 adults + 2 children costs just £54.85).
