Douwe Egberts has launched Cafitesse 700, the latest, most advanced addition to the Cafitesse range and which it believes is "probably the world’s best coffee machine".

The 700 includes all the existing Cafitesse benefits, with the addition of significant technological advances. It is capable of producing 27 drink options in as little as four seconds per cup and can produce a 1.5lt pot of coffee in just 44 seconds.

The extensive range of drinks includes cappuccino, latte, mocha, hot chocolate, espresso and coffee, with each capable of being served in up to three sizes.

The 700’s LCD touch screen can tell staff key information – such as when the machine needs cleaning or its ingredients replenishing – and can be programmed to communicate messages to customers.

Where required, a payment system can also be incorporated into the unit, effectively making it a vending machine.
