Ducasse heads to Dorchester
Chef Alain Ducasse is opening a new restaurant at The Terrace within The Dorchester hotel in London.
The 80-capacity Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester, complete with a private dining area, overlooking Hyde Park has been redesigned and is set to open in November.
General manager Christopher Cowdray said: “This restaurant will be a wonderful addition to the hotel and combined with Aiden Byrne at The Grill, China Tang and The Bar will make The Dorchester one of the most exciting places in London to dine.”
Laurent Plantier, CEO of Groupe Alain Ducasse, added: “We’re very honoured to be entrusted to open our new London restaurant at The Dorchester. It has been for long a focus point of London’s life and highly regarded by connoisseurs of the world. With Alain Ducasse’s inspirational guidance, the restaurant will attract and seduce the most demanding clientele.”
Ducasse oversees the restaurant at The Dorchester’s sister hotel in Paris and operates his own restaurant, the Hôtel Plaza Athénée, also based in the French capital.
