ECB reveals new board appointments
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced the appointment of Rachael Heyhoe-Flint and Jane Stitchbury to its board.
Heyhoe-Flint, the former England women's cricket captain, and Stitchbury, the former chief constable of Dorset, have joined an enlarged board at the national governing body for cricket. Yorkshire chair Colin Graves has also been appointed, while Essex chair Nigel Hilliard has been re-appointed to the board, which increased in size from 12 to 14 members.
ECB chair Giles Clarke said: "Rachael was an outstanding captain of England women and has worked tirelessly on behalf of cricket for many years, particularly for the Lady Taverners. "Jane was the first woman to be appointed as one of Her Majesty's Inspectors of Constabulary and her knowledge and experience will be invaluable."
