ESPA prepares to enter the Romanian spa market
The exclusive Silver Mountain residential project in the mountainous area of Poiana Brasov will launch in 2010, marking the entry of the consultancy and product supplier ESPA into the Romanian market.
Working with Trend Hospitality, ESPA will coordinate operations at the spa, which will include both indoor and outdoor swimming pools as well as a number of treatment rooms.
Other features of the 173-acre (70-hectare) Silver Mountain project will include a golf course, apartments and two luxury hotels, operating under the Radisson SAS and Regent brands. Total investment in the infrastructure is more than 8m euro (US$10.86m, £7.32m).
The resort’s landscape architecture is being conceived by French company EGIS, while the surrounding environment is being safeguarded by German specialists Wild Management.
According to ESPA’s CEO and founder Susan Harmsworth, the company is currently considering the development of three other projects in Bucharest. (See Spa Business news 09/01. To subscribe, visit spabusiness.com)
