SHOKK, The Youth Activity People, have introduced a new education prospectus and bespoke training pathway to help steer learners onto the correct courses and qualifications.

SHOKK offer the widest range of youth specific qualifications, CPD training courses, workshops and learning resources available across the UK, which help to up-skill learners in a variety of activity settings.

Delivered in a completely unique and innovative fashion, SHOKK provide the tools to learners allowing them to offer physical activity appealing to all young people, regardless of ability or background.

This objective remains the same across all elements of the SHOKK Concept. Working in association with Active IQ, the awarding body for the active leisure and learning sector, SHOKK also offer free government-funded qualifications to help fight the growing concerns with inactivity amongst young people.

Split into three stages of development, learners expand their skill level and earn their stripes as they complete each stage.

The level of entry is dependent of previous qualifications and desired learning outcomes. The system makes it easy for employers to understand the skill levels of the new recruits or existing employees.

Stripe One offers all entry-level courses and qualifications, from young leaders awards through to professional workshops and qualifications.

Stripe Two progresses skills and evolves the programming and session aspect by offering a choice of 12 group exercise workshops, such as Breakdance or Kombat.

Stripe Three, the final stripe, provides advanced learning and further development from our most popular courses.

All levels enable learners to increase their REPs points, contributing to their required 24 points in any two year period.
