Earth spa comes to Thailand
Six Senses has opened the Earth Spa alongside the new Evason Hideaway at Hua Hin in Thailand.
The Earth Spa comprises nine circular, domed buildings created entirely from a mixture of clay-like mud, rice husks and straw.
Set over 1,390sq m (14,920sq ft), the spa features four treatment rooms with private outdoor whirlpools, two steamrooms, a meditation cave and a relaxation area.
Treatments focus on Skin Food – the philosophy that nothing should be put onto the skin which could not be eaten.
Many of the ingredients used in the treatments – such as coconut, papaya, ginger, avocado and lime – are freshly harvested at the Evason resort. Details: www.sixsenses.com
