Emaar to open a property management academy

Dubai-based Emaar Properties has established the region’s first professional academy for property management – Emaar Property Management Academy.
The academy provides an opportunity for young United Arab Emirate nationals to train in the real estate industry.
The academy has four faculties – Faculty of Real Estate Management, Faculty of Real Estate Marketing, Faculty of Retail Management and Faculty of Real Estate Finance – covering accountancy, corporate finance, project finance and Shari’a compliant finance. Initially offering three to 12-month programmes, it will later offer 18–24-month programmes leading to professional qualifications.
The academy is expected to attract property owners, property managers and academic students interested in a future in property development.
