Empty venue to become Shrewsbury youth hub
The former Salop Glass building in Shrewsbury is to be transformed into a new youth hub for the town under new plans unveiled by Shropshire Council.
Indoor skateboarding facilities are proposed as part of the centre, which is to be housed in a building that had been earmarked for demolition as part of the Flax Mills Maltings scheme.Shropshire Council has now decided to create a new youth centre with the prospect of work on the Flax Mills Malting scheme yet to commence. Pool, basketball and BMX activities will also be provided.
