Everlast Gyms is partnering with Hyrox to roll out 60 Performance Centers across the UK and Ireland by 2028 within its existing health clubs as part of a deal that will see the operator becoming the official national partner for the sports racing brand.

The deal follows on from Sports Direct – the Frasers Group sports retailer – being named as official title sponsor for five Hyrox races in 2025.

The first Hyrox Performance Centers will open in Liverpool, Manchester, and Dublin within the next six months, delivering elite training environments for the Hyrox, sports racing and functional fitness communities.

Hyrox already has 1,500 training clubs in the UK operating under its affiliate model, delivering Hyrox-related training at health clubs across the UK.

Each new Hyrox Performance Center will replicate the full race-day experience and be outfitted with official Centr x Hyrox competition equipment which is used by participants worldwide at Hyrox races, including wall balls and targets, octo kettlebells, power sleds and rope, sandbags, edge bumper plates and the newly-launched Competition Perform Turf, to create a true-to-competition environment.

Performance Centers will also have curved and motorless Perform Tread treadmills and the Perform Rig, a multifunctional wall-ball station with integrated gear storage.

All equipment has been designed specifically for Hyrox by Chris Hemsworth’s Centr.

Everlast will introduce dedicated Hyrox classes and training programmes designed to help members of all levels prepare effectively and consistently. Everlast members will also receive early access to Hyrox tickets.

The aim is to grow the Hyrox training community and prepare athletes of all levels for race day.

Michael Murray, CEO of Frasers Group, said: “Bringing Hyrox Performance Centers to the UK is a big milestone for Everlast Gyms and for the fitness community. Our ambition is to create aspirational training environments and to be at the forefront of performance-led functional fitness and recovery – all at an accessible price.

“Becoming the official UK Home of Hyrox does exactly that – connecting us with the Hyrox community in an integrated way.”

Douglas Gremmen, global head of 365 at Hyrox added: “One of our main goals with Hyrox Performance Centers is to give athletes the opportunity to train in conditions which replicate race day, so they can prepare optimally and improve performance.

“Our partnership with Everlast Gyms builds on the existing success of our Hyrox Training Clubs and is set to raise the standard of Hyrox training across the UK even further.”

Everlast will also host Hyrox simulation events at its clubs in Gateshead, Rotherham and Thurrock UK from July 22–24, bringing a race-day experience to members across the UK.
