Customers in Islington have again awarded their leisure facilities excellent ratings for customer satisfaction in the annual independent survey undertaken at Archway Leisure Centre, Cally Pool, Finsbury Leisure Centre, Highbury Pool & Fitness Centre, Islington Tennis Centre and Sobell Leisure Centre.

The six leisure centres are managed by Aquaterra in partnership with Islington Council.

The survey, conducted in Spring 2013 by market research agency SPA Future Thinking (Market Research Society accredited), recorded fantastic scores from customers. Overall 'satisfaction' was a highly commendable 8.3 out of 10 and overall 'satisfaction with staff' was rated even more highly at 8.8 out of 10, both of which demonstrate continued increase over the last four years.

Performance was benchmarked against the UK's two most important scores; Comparisat® and Net Promoter Score® which showed that leisure centres managed by Aquaterra in Islington are performing significantly above the national average.

Aquaterra scored 8.3 against the Comparisat® 7.6 benchmark satisfaction score for UK major service providers and +45% against the Net Promoter Score of +21% for the UK leisure/health and fitness sector and +23% for trusts.

Antony Kildare, chief executive of Aquaterra, said: "We're proud and delighted with these superb scores as they demonstrate our continued commitment to delivering excellent levels of customer service. As a progressive organisation we value feedback and staff work very hard to provide an enjoyable and satisfying experience for customers."
