Central YMCA has appointed Rosi Prescott as its new chief executive.

Formerly director of Central YMCA Qualifications, Prescott will become the first female chief executive in Central YMCA’s 150-year history, replacing Rodney Cullum, who is retiring after 30 years.

In her new role, Prescott will be responsible for seven operations: Central YMCA Qualifications, YMCA Positive Health, Y Touring Theatre Company, Central YMCA Club, Central YMCA Sports Ground, the separate charity YMCA Fitness Industry training and commercial operation YMCA Fitness Recruitment.

Prescott is excited at the challenge ahead: “I see this as my opportunity to give something back to the YMCA and hope to further develop the synergy between the different operations,” she said.
