FishWorks on target for growth
Restaurant group FishWorks, which listed on AIM in June, has announced a 51 per cent increase in unaudited turnover from £2.7m to £4.1m for the 12 months ending July 2005, compared with the same period in 2004.
The group achieved pre-tax profits of £217,000, compared with losses of £315,000 the previous year.
Since listing, FishWorks has opened a new site in Islington, London, and a fishmonger and seafood bar at Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge.
The group also operates restaurants in Bath, Bristol, Chiswick, Christchurch and London's Marylebone High Street.
Tony Fisher, chair, said: “Our successful listing has increased our corporate profile, diversified our shareholder base and provided the capital to assist the funding of our growth plans to a minimum of 19 sites by 31 July 2008." Details: www.fishworks.co.uk
