Fitness First targets couch potatoes
Fitness First has launched a range a equipment for people who prefer to exercise at home.
Equipment includes large cardiovascular pieces such as cross trainers, exercise bikes and rowing machines, as well as product sets for pilates, running, yoga and strength training. The products will be sold exclusively through Tesco stores and Tesco Direct and prices range from £12.99 to £300.
David Langridge, UK marketing manager for Fitness First, said: "Each product comes with a free guest pass to encourage the consumers of the products to take the next step and visit a Fitness First gym with the aim to convert them to full membership. This is an effective method to reach more people and to raise the Fitness First brand profile.
