Global Wellness Summit reveals first glimpse of its speaker lineup

Speakers will include well-known industry figures such as Simone Gibertoni of Clinique LaPrairie, Joanna Frank of Fitwel and George Gaitanos from Chenot
This will be the 19th annual GWS Summit and the theme is "Longevity Through a Wellness Lens"

The Global Wellness Summit (GWS) has revealed a list of some of the speakers that have been selected to speak during the longevity-themed conference in Dubai between 18-21 November.

The 19th annual GWS will take place at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai, UAE, bringing together wellness companies, business leaders, doctors and academics to discuss what the future holds for the industry.

The theme for the conference was recently announced: “Longevity Through a Wellness Lens”.

Speakers included in the initial line-up include:

George Gaitanos, MSc, PhD – Chief operating and scientific officer, Chenot (Switzerland)

Jonathan Emery – CEO, Aldar Development (UAE)

Joanna Frank – CEO, Fitwel (US)

Simone Gibertoni – CEO, Clinique LaPrairie (Switzerland)

Philippe Zuber – CEO, Kerzner International (UAE)

Steve Nygren – Founder, Serenbe (US)

Ramy Elnagar – Co-founder, White Mirror (Portugal)

Jiri Dvorak, MD – Professor Emeritus, Neurology, University of Zurich; chief medical officer (1994 - 2016), FIFA (Switzerland)

Ken Pelletier, MD, PhD – Author; clinical professor of medicine, University of California School of Medicine (US)

The GWS is expected to host discussions about the future of 11 wellness sectors (including wellness tourism, physical activity, mental wellness, beauty and spas), there will be a special focus on the fastest growing market – wellness real estate.

The GWI will present new research and global case studies in this market, which is slated to be worth US$1.1 trillion (€900 billion, £820 billion) by 2029.

The GWI will also unveil the 2025 Global Wellness Economy Monitor, providing brand new insights into the global wellness market and each of its sectors.
