Hilton signs UK development deal
Hilton Hotels Corporation has signed a deal with HLH Property to introduce up to 30 new hotels in the UK and Ireland in the five years.
The new developments, which will comprise around 4,000 rooms, will help the company expand its Hampton by Hilton budget hotel brand.
Simon Vincent, area president of Hilton UK & Ireland, said: “Having already announced substantial alliances with Shiva and Somerston, representing a total of 40 new hotels, this latest deal with HLH highlights our continued ambition to accelerate our expansion plans.
“Significantly, the sites we are reviewing with HLH do not generally compete will the other locations where we are in negotiations with other developers and franchisees.”
Middlesex-based HLH have several hotels in the country, including properties under the Choice Hotels’ Sleep Inn and Carlson Hotels’ Park Inn brands.
