Holiday Inn enters Arabia
Branded budget hotels will make an entry into the Gulf region, as a consortium of 12 regional investors have agreed to finance a US$150m (123m euro, £85m) launch and development of more than 20 Express by Holiday Inn hotels across five countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in the Arabian penninsula.
The first property will be built at knowledge Village, part of the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone.
