Holmes place gets Israel in a spin
Nearly 1400 people took part in a marathon spinning session in Israel this month in an event organised by Homes Place health Club.
Sponsored by Star Trac, the spinning took place over a nine hour period outside the Herzeliya club near Tel Aviv and was televised live throughout the country.
Star Trac, which manufacturers the V-Bike spinner and the Johnny G Spinner bikes, provided Holmes Place with 350 spinners for the event which saw Israelis cycling to both traditional Israeli music and techno and rock ‘n' roll.
Holmes Place called the event a ‘Celebration of Life' and organised it to market their health club brand in Israel. Holmes Place has 13 clubs in Israel, the first of which opened in 1998. Seven of those are under the Shapes brand and six under Holmes Place.
