Hospitality Action launches 2005 Christmas cards
Hospitality Action (HA), the hospitality industry’s benevolent organisation, has launched a new range of personal and corporate Christmas cards for 2005.
Last year, sales of the charity’s cards raised £8,000 to support industry members who had fallen on hard times, and this year, Hospitality Action is looking to double last year’s amount.
Hospitality Action chief executive Penny Moore said: “The festive period can be a very lonely time, which is why we make it our job to remember our Family Members and let them know we are here should they need us.”
For every card sold, 20p goes to HA and enables the organisation to send its 850 Family Members a Christmas card and gift.
Moore added: “Help us to help those industry members who have fallen on hard times to have the best Christmas ever!”
With 12 new designs to choose from, and the option of personalised greetings, BHA members are being invited to buy the cards for their corporate Christmas greetings, and to support BHA chief executive Bob Cotton as chair of Hospitality Action.
Supporters of Hospitality Action who prefer not to send Christmas cards are invited to make a special seasonal donation to the charity instead.
For those companies who are planning on sending their Christmas greeting via email, donations in excess of £250 will receive a Christmas email card from Hospitality Action (for more information contact [email protected]).
