Hunters Leisure has announced it is in negotiations with several potential buyers for four of its clubs, hoping that the sale will lead to a reduction in bank borrowings so the company can move out of administration.
Heads of terms for the sale of the Dunstable club have been agreed for a nominal cash consideration and the disposal is expected to be completed in the near future. All four clubs are currently trading profitably.
Publication of results for the year ended 30 April 2002 have been delayed pending further sales and as a result, trading in the company's shares on AIM has been suspended.
