Imperial Boathouse gets revamp
The Imperial College Boathouse in London has completed a £60,000 facelift.
Imperial College London wholly funded the refurbishment, which included new flooring and gym equipment supplied by Escape Fitness – featuring free weights, indoor bikes, plyometric platforms, BOSUs and speed ladders as well as medicine balls.
Last refurbished in 1999, the boathouse has a limited public membership and also offers an in-house physiotherapy service and physiological testing as well as a workshop, racking and a club room.
Part of Imperial College London, the boathouse is the headquarters of one of the most successful student rowing clubs in the country.
