Inspire swim school scores top STA ranking Sports trust Inspire Leisure's swim school has been ranked as the number one in the UK following its recent Swimming Teachers Association (STA) accreditation.

The school, which operates at Littlehampton Swimming and Sports Centre and Arun Leisure Centre, was awarded a distinction, with a score of 89 per cent.

Dave Candler, Swim School Manager for Inspire Leisure, said: "Inspire Leisure has gone through the STA accreditation three times spanning the last six years and are over the moon with this year's accreditation.

"We successfully completed the assessment on the 17 June 2009 with an overall score of 89 per cent making us officially the number one rated swim school in the UK.

"This demonstrates commitment to the highest standards of tuition, training and planning of a lesson programme as well as looking at the facilities, policies and procedures of Inspire Leisure."

The school accommodates more than 5,000 children every week in its swimming programme.
