Investment vehicle to acquire Wrexham FC
Wrexham Football Club's (WFC) owners have confirmed that the Blue Square Bet Premier club is to be sold 'as soon as possible' to Van Morton Investments.
The investment vehicle - led by Robert Bickerton and Tony Allan - will also have the option to acquire the Racecourse Ground and training ground 'at a later stage' as part of the deal. Wrexham Village Ltd has revealed that Bickerton will join WFC's board of directors as the club's new chair, while Tony Allan will become chief executive.
Geoff Moss and Ian Roberts will step down from the board and become vice presidents as a result.
