Invicta buys Cannons Cardiff
Invicta Leisure has bought Cannons Cardiff and will also take over operation of the Welsh National Tennis Centre.
The Cannons club will be refurbished to include a new aerobics studio and treatment rooms as well as upgraded pool, gym and changing rooms.
Zynk Design Consultants will oversee the refurbishment, which is due to be completed this summer.
Invicta will also operate the Welsh National Tennis Centre under an agreement with Cardiff County Council.
'Most clubs cannot be made to fit the stringent requirements we have set for our Club Indigo brand. This is an exception and we believe the upgrade will substantially accomplish the re-positioning of the club in its marketplace,' said Invicta chief executive, Kevin McCollum.
