International charity Save the Children is organising a national tennis tournament for boys and girls to raise vital funds for its work with vulnerable children around the world.

The charity is looking for volunteers to encourage young people with a taste for sport to take up the racket challenge.

Organisers will be asked to put on doubles tennis tournaments in their local community parks, halls, schools or clubs giving children the incentive to get active.

Winners of the regional finals will go to the National Grand Finals at The All England Lawn Tennis club, Wimbledon in October.

Facilities which agree to organise a tournament will receive a promotion pack to guide them through the process and help with fundraising ideas.
