La Tasca announces pre-close statement

La Tasca Group has announced that its preliminary results for the year ended 30 April 2006 – to be announced on 4 July – will be in line with market expectations, following the opening of 14 new restaurants last financial year.
The profit contribution from the seven new restaurants that began trading earlier in the year will be offset by the pre-opening costs incurred from the five openings in the last seven weeks of the financial year.
La Tasca now operates 64 restaurants worldwide and plans to open a further 14 restaurants this year. Details: www.latascagroupplc.co.uk
