Langham Hospitality Group has launched its third Chuan Spa destination in Australia, following the opening of its new Gold Coast property and set of residences.

Chuan Spa is Langham’s signature holistic spa and wellness concept which embraces the healing philosophies of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

The Langham, Gold Coast's new spa is complete with seven treatment rooms as well as a health and beauty centre and both an indoor free form and an outdoor swimming pool. Guests can also visit a fitness centre – supplied by Life Fitness – as well as a multi-purpose studio designed for a variety of activities such as yoga, pilates and meditation.

The spa is currently only available to hotel guests but will open to the public as of 23 November.

The new Chad Oppenheim-designed hotel is situated within a crystalline jewel-inspired tower which rises between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. It marks the brand’s third management contract in Australia, joining its existing Melbourne and Sydney destinations.

With a prime beachfront location, the hotel and its associated serviced apartments are housed inside the central and tallest of the three landmark towers of the Gold Coast’s new Jewel mixed-use development.

The hotel is located between the third and 20th floors while residences are found on the 22nd to 49th floors, offering expansive city and ocean views.

The towers’ crystalline forms are inspired by the gemstone shards discovered in the region which date back thousands of years.

The Langham, Gold Coast features 169 rooms and suites, 170 serviced residences, two restaurants and 5,300sq ft of recreational facilities, including the spa and health club.
