Latest Ram Brewery plans to go on show
A second public exhibition is to open today (17 November) to enable developer Minerva to display its latest plans for the redevelopment of the Ram Brewery in Wandsworth, London.
The group is aiming to transform the former brewery site with a new mixed-use project and is to use the event, which will also be held 19 November, to further develop the designs.
Current plans for the site include 5,334sq m (57,415sq ft) of heritage buildings; 5,367 sq m (57,770sq ft) of shops, cafés, bars and restaurants; and more than 450 residential units.
More than 1,100sq m (11,840sq ft) of leisure facilities, comprising a swimming pool, a gym and spa, are also proposed, along with office space and a showroom.
Minerva's proposals for the site had initially received the approval of Wandsworth Council in December 2008, but were blocked by the government following a public inquiry.
