Leicester supporters to select shirt design
Supporters of Leicester City Football Club (LCFC) are to be given the chance to vote on what will appear on the front of its shirts next season as part of the club's 125th anniversary celebrations.
Four options have been drawn up following consultation with supporters' groups after the club announced that it will not be displaying a commercial sponsor on its shirts during the 2009-10 season. The deadline for voting, which is being conducted on the club's official website, is midday on Sunday 25 January, with an announcement expected to be made the following week.
LCFC chair, Milan Mandaric, said: "This is the fairest way possible for fans to have the ultimate decision on what goes on the front of our shirts next season. Whichever option attracts the most votes is the choice we will adopt."
