Sam Kenward has continued his rise through the ranks of Lifetime Training to be appointed head of commercial training for fitness.

Kenward – who joined the training provider as a senior course advisor in 2008 and in 2013 became commercial development manager – will be tasked with achieving the highest possible success rates and engagement levels amongst Lifetime’s self-funded fitness learners.

Lifetime Training, which recently scooped a hat-trick of prizes at the Active Training Awards 2015, is eager to continue its growth in 2016, with a strong focus on quality and innovation.

“Last year, Lifetime trained more than 3,000 fitness professionals and developed new innovations, including bringing our award-winning PT Diploma online, providing our learners with greater flexibility and support via our Desk Based Tutor team,” said Mike Jones, commercial director at Lifetime Training.

“These new innovations require leadership from a talented and committed individuals, so I’m delighted that we’ve appointed Sam to the role so that we can continue providing the best possible experience for our learners.”

Having previously been accountable for the performance and development of both the Fitness Sales and Customer Service Teams as commercial development manager, Kenward aims to make an impact right across the business in his latest role.

“My objective is to lead and develop our Customer Service, Sales, Quality and Operational teams, providing them with a clear focus as to how they can make measurable, positive impacts on each stage of the Lifetime learner journey,” said Kenward.
