Linking the sports industry together
The Sports & Leisure Facilities Forum is a unique event for purchasing decision makers from sporting establishments to meet with solution providers who can increase their knowledge of why, how and where to invest in the sporting industry. The Summit is held for one day only and takes place on 20th June at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, Madejski Stadium, Berkshire.
Delegate attendance is totally complimentary, with sports purchasing professionals from Brunel University, Fitness First, Luton Hoo Hotel Golf and Spa, Salisbury City Football Club, Sheffield Hallam University, The Belfry, Topnotch Health Clubs, Tottenham Hotspur, York Sport amongst the high profile delegates who have confirmed their attendance, and service providers The Energy Desk, Life Fitness, Panasonic UK, Precor, S & C Slatter, CFM Ltd, XN Leisure are once again returning to the event, with many more attendees signed up for a full day of business meetings, seminars and networking.
Forum Events Sales Director Sarah Hendy puts the The Sports & Leisure Facilities Forum’s continuing success down to the high caliber of attendees, She goes on the say "From both the delegate and supplier perspective, we ensure every attendee gets the most from the event. Delegates attend knowing that they will only meet with supplier companies they have requested, and in turn, the suppliers are aware that their meetings are matched with delegates who have an avid interest in the products or services they are promoting."
The seminar programme and speakers for this year include topical subjects such as ‘Energy reduction and renewable technology in the leisure industry’ hosted by Ian Edwards of The Energy Desk. Danny Bermant of Brainstorm Digital, will be talking about social media, with a seminar entitled 'How can I convert my Facebook and Twitter fans into customers?' And Karen Woolland of wctd Ltd (Woolland Coaching Training and Development.) will be offering delegates the opportunity to gain a better understanding of grant funding for facility projects in her presentation 'Key steps to successful grant funding and community engagement'.
"Another excellent event, met some great suppliers and I will be following up when I get back to the club! Excellent event!"
- Accrington Stanley
"I had a fantastic time, and found the event extremely useful - having gone to FIBO, LIW and FILEX (Sydney) many times over the years, it was the first time I had been to a summit with the one-on-one meeting type format, and I found it hugely effective, and have already been in touch with some of those I spoke with!"
- The Third Space
