NSC approves £2.5m Worle sports project
A £2.5m combined sports and learning difficulties facility will be built at Worle Community School in Weston-super-Mare after the project was backed by the local authority.
North Somerset Council's (NSC) executive has green lighted the project, with work to begin next year, subject to the approval of planning consent. It is due to open in early 2013.
The proposals comprise a full-sized artificial pitch with floodlighting; a fitness gym; a multi-purpose sports room; and indoor and outdoor changing areas.
