Namco buys Number Ten
Entertainment company Namco Europe has acquired bowling firm Number Ten Group from its founder, entrepreneur Peter Williams, for an undisclosed sum.
Acting through its subsidiary, Namco Operations Europe, Namco – which is owned by Japanese company Namco Bandai Holdings – bought the Number Ten bowling centres located in Romford and Braintree in Essex, Norwich in Norfolk and Rugby in Warwickshire to boost its presence in the UK.
Number Ten’s Norwich site contains 30 bowling lanes, a café, and a sports bar.
Namco already owns multi-leisure centres at County Hall in London and the Trafford Centre in Manchester.
