New 4D attraction for New York Aquarium
The New York Aquarium is to open a new 4D attraction this weekend.
The new Planet Earth: Shallow Seas 4D Experience is an immersion theatre that uses wind, mist, smell and lighting effects in addition to the 3D film, which features creatures such as dolphins, pygmy seahorses, sea snakes, sea lions and humpback whales.
The attraction, which was created by the Toronto/Los Angeles-based SimEx-Iwerks, will open on Saturday 21 March at the Coney Island aquarium.
