New Balance's 1520 and 840 shoes
New Balance has unveiled two new pairs of shoes for use in adventure activities.
The first of these is the 1520 shoe (pictured), which comes with a range of features applicable for hikers and mountain bikers.
These include ABZORB cushioning, a lightweight foam support as well as NLOCK lacing, webbing that tightens around the foot when the laces are tied to ensure that the foot sits in the correct position.
Additionally, the shoe also incorporates a GORE-TEX lining to protect from wind and water on top of a Vibram Outsole to maintain one's grip on both dry and wet surfaces.
Meanwhile, the 840 shoe comes with ABZORB and NLOCK technology and is intended for use on rough trails and fells.
