New Level 3 Course on Teaching Yoga
A new course on teaching yoga has just been given CYQ approval as well as offering those completing it entry to the Register at level 3 and 20 CPD points.
The scheme, run by Yoga Professionals, was designed to help instructors break into teaching the discipline on a mainstream level.
Sara Wicebloom, co-founder of Yoga Professionals, said: “There are many different disciplines and styles of yoga out there as well as corresponding courses which can be confusing for anyone wanting to study it.
“What we hope our course will do is provide a comprehensive introduction to the main styles as well as providing students with the necessary skills to become great yoga teachers.”
The course, which also has NVQ status, is run over six months, made up of three months of home study and 12 days (spread over six months) of practical sessions.
