New London hotels for Hilton's upscale brand
Hilton Worldwide has opened two new DoubleTree by Hilton properties in central London, which are among the eight Mint Hotels across the Netherlands and UK to join the portfolio.
The 583-bedroom DoubleTree by Hilton London-Tower of London is sited near to attractions including Tower Bridge; St Paul's Cathedral; and the Whitechapel Art Gallery.
Facilities include the Skylounge, which offers views across the capital from its vantage point 14th storeys above the ground, as well as the City Café and the Fenchurch Bar.
Meanwhile, the 460-bedroom Double Tree by Hilton London-Westminster also comprises a Skylounge and a City Café, as well as the Millbank Lounge.
Hilton Worldwide area president for Europe Simon Vincent said: "The dynamic European growth of DoubleTree by Hilton indicates remarkable promise for the brand as we enter 2012.
"With more than 220 hotels open and 110 hotel development projects currently underway in Europe, the potential for travelling consumers and hotel developers alike to enjoy and explore the Hilton Worldwide portfolio has never been greater."
