Triotech, maker of the XD Dark Ride, has teamed up with Zamperla to launch a new interactive dark ride.

Triotech's new iDR ride is designed to immerse players in a universe that combines advanced interactive technology with thrills and speed in a cart crafted by Zamperla for the attraction.

Designed specifically for group gameplay, the dark ride physically moves players through a series of interactive stations with large-scale curved screens.

Ernest Yale president and CEO of Triotech said: “We want to raise the bar in Dark Ride experiences and bring the wow factor to major amusement parks and operators. Overall, the quality of the interactivity, motion, the ride content and immersion will be unmatched”.

Triotech and Zamperla plan to announce further deals in the near future.
