New facilities for three Edinburgh parks
Three parks in Edinburgh - Colinton Mains Park; Jewel Park; and Meadowfield Park - are to benefit from new and improved play facilities.
A new play area for children aged between 3-12 years old is to be created at Colinton Mains Park, which will include new swings and a multi-play rollercoaster. Jewel Park in Bingham will receive a new climbing wall and a ball court for sports activities, while Meadowfield Park will also benefit from modern play facilities.
The City of Edinburgh Council has provided funding alongside contributions from Waste Recyling Environmental (WREN).
