New fitness equipment for London club
Reebok Sports Club at Canary Wharf, London, has upgraded its fitness offering with 40 pieces of new cv equipment from Life Fitness' Elevation Series Engage range.
The 100,000sq ft (9,290sq m) facility, which is one of the largest private members' clubs in Europe, has installed 14 treadmills, 10 cross-trainers and 16 Lifecycle exercise bikes as part of the revamp. The new equipment also includes iPod connectivity and USB facilities - designed to enable members to use Life Fitness' online service to create bespoke workouts and track progress.
Reebok Sports Club general manager John Penny said: "The media and technology capabilities of the equipment are features that we know will appeal to our customers." Other facilities at the club include one of the UK's largest spin studios; a 23m swimming pool, a 13m climbing wall and indoor golf facilities. The club also boasts a spa, sunbeds and a bar and restaurant.
